We are sad to note the death of Dr Lawrence LeShan, who died 10th November, 2020, aged 100. LeShan is perhaps best known for his book The Medium, the Mystic, and the Physicist, first published 1974, and for having long worked with the medium Eileen J. Garrett. LeShan wrote many books, including A New Science of the Paranormal, published 2009. He contributed a few papers to the Journal of the Society for Psychical Research (LeShan, 1967, 1977; LeShan & Margenau, 1980). Earlier this year he was interviewed by Vayda Parrish, who wrote a brief article: Larry LeShan '42 approaching milestone 100th birthday [EXTERNAL LINK]. Rosemarie Pilkington also included an interview with him in Men and Women of Parapsychology, Personal Reflections. Esprit, Volume 2. The Parapsychology Foundation has shared a long interview with LeShan on YouTube: Interview with Lawrence LeShan [EXTERNAL LINK].
