Monday 17th March 2025 at 8pm: Revisiting the Poltergeist phenomenon inside a collaborative project around an online Macro-PK database - Dr Eric Dullin

REGISTRATIONS FOR THIS EVENT WILL CLOSE TWO HOURS BEFORE THE TALK IS DUE TO START. In this talk, Dr. Eric Dullin will follow up his presentation at the PA 2024 convention in Mérida/Mexico on the imminent launch of an online Macro-Pk collaborative database (the actual launch took place on November 15). The first part of the project focused on Poltergeists and their detailed phenomenology (see also the article published in JSE ). The current database includes over 1,300 cases, of which almost 1,200 have a detailed phenomenology. The ease and depth of searching the database will be demonstrated during the webinar, and participants will be able to use it afterwards, as it is an open-access website. Up-to-date statistics, such as the phenomenology of Poltergeists according to time period, geographical area or duration of event, will also be presented using this new database. This will give a new insight compared to the presentation made in June 2022, as the database now includes 1177 cases with detailed phenomenology (versus 500 cases previously) and with more recent cases (the last case taking place in 2020 versus 1975 in the previous version). Finally, Eric will present the other parts of the project with the fields of physical mediumship, mystics, macro-pk experimentation and theories.

Since his teens, alongside a career in software publishing, Eric Dullin has been very interested in physics and paranormal phenomena. He was fortunate enough to experience a Poltergeist phenomenon and did research around this case (as the rapping sound signature).

In 2014, he joined the LAPDC made up of a group of volunteers interested in experiencing telekinesis with a scientific approach. He then helped develop and conduct a set of experiments whose methodology and results were presented at a previous SPR conference and published, in particular in JSE and PA Journal.

At the same time, he has conducted a qualitative and quantitative analysis of Poltergeist/RSPK cases from the Middle Ages to the present day, in a large number of countries. He has also studied physical mediumship and mystical levitation. He then piloted the development of the online database www.macropk.org  with the aim of organizing and linking all this historical data and providing a simple tool for its use by the community.
