Noetic Sciences: Exploring the Frontiers of Conciousness

Speaker: Marilyn Mandala Schlitz. A special lecture event in collaboration with the Scientific and Medical Network. Dr Schlitz is a clinical research scientist,medical anthropologist, writer, and thought leader. Her work over the past three decades explores the interface of consciousness, science, and healing. She is the President and CEO for the Institute of Noetic Sciences and Senior Scientist at the Research Institute,California Pacific Medical Center.

Marilyn Mandala Schlitz, Ph.D. is a clinical research scientist,medical anthropologist, writer, and thought leader. Her work over the past three decades explores the interface of consciousness, science, and healing. She received her Ph.D. in anthropology from the University ofTexas,Austin. She is the President and CEO for the Institute of Noetic Sciences and Senior Scientist at the Research Institute,California Pacific Medical Center. She has published numerous articles on consciousness studies in scholarly and popular journals and has given talks at the United Nations, the Smithsonian Institution, and the Explorers Club. She has taught at Trinity University, Stanford University, and Harvard Medical Center.Marilyn possesses a rare ability to translate complex ideas into a common sense language that excites the imaginations of audiences worldwide. Her books include: Consciousness and Healing: Integral Approaches to Mind Body Medicine (2005) and Living Deeply: The Art and Science ofTransformation in Everyday Life (2008).
