Prof. K. Ramakrishna Rao had a long career. Among other things he headed the Institute for Parapsychology (1977-1984) and the Foundation for Research on the Nature of Man (1984-1994) in the United States. He also served as the editor of the Journal of Parapsychology (1977-1994). In addition, he headed the Department of Psychology and Parapsychology (1967-1982) at Andhra University in India. He has written, edited or co-authored several books and dozens of articles. Noteworthy among the articles is The anomaly called psi: Recent research and criticism (co-authored with John Palmer) published in Behavioral and Brain Sciences 1987. Rao also contributed a chapter to Advances in Parapsychological Research volume 2 about theoris of psi. A book devoted to Rao, Ageless Mind and Timeless Ideas, was published in 2016.
