Richard Sugg joins us to discuss his reports of this case in the Paranormal Review. In spring 2012, Keith Linder and his girlfriend Tina knew nothing about poltergeists. They were an ordinary, middle-class couple, excited about setting up their first home together in a seven-year-old detached house in Bothell, Seattle, USA.
In the opening article (in issue 87), Richard gives an overview of the story and examines certain familiar poltergeist qualities, along with some highly anomalous ones. He looks at some of the more startling pieces of poltergeist physics that Keith recounts. In the second piece (in issue 88), Richard sets out the case for these events being the work of more than one spirit, demonstrating intelligence, intention, malice and a consistently vicious targeting of Keith himself. Richard hopes to get people reading Keith’s book and would like this to prompt a conversation. He says: "A case so strange and richly detailed should spark questions, responses and (hopefully) relevant data from people more experienced and knowledgeable than myself. Unlike some poltergeist victims, Keith is keen for that to happen."
